One super important mineral that our food is deficient in is Magnesium. According to WebMD,

It’s not all on us that we’re not getting enough of it. Our soil is deficient in it thanks to modern farming practices. Also, magnesium is highly lost in the processing of food. Stress is another magnesium depleter!
